The University of Pécs is offering a summer SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY for members of the Hungarian Diaspora. Offered by the Tempus Public Foundation, diaspora members can apply to get full scholarship to the European Studies summer program, organized by the University of Pécs in July. It presents a great opportunity for people with Hungarian roots to spend two weeks of their summer here, at the University of Pécs, in a beautiful destination in Central Europe, to strengthen their ties with Hungary.

Title: European Studies Summer School
Date: July 6-19, 2025
 
Short description:
During the summer school, students will study the political, economic, cultural and social achievements and challenges of the European Union, as well as expand their knowledge on topics such as the art history, gastronomy and folk traditions of Europe. They will broaden their perspectives about the contributing factors that led to contemporary Europe, including migration, cultural diversity, gender issues. These topics will be examined from the perspectives of Hungary, thus enriching the participants’ knowledge of Hungary.
 
Credits offered: 6 ECTS credits
Language of instruction: English
Scholarship covers: tuition, accommodation, meals, attendance on social programs
